The BBC has revealed new branding and logos that will feature on all radio, TV and online channels.

For the first time all stations, national, local, international and spin offs, will feature the same font.

The aim is ‘to modernise the audience experience’ which has a whiff of committee speak but you can see the logic behind it.

The individual networks like Radio 1 and BBC 5Live won’t look radically different – the main change is that the station names will be uppercase.

Below is an early example of how the menu on BBC Sounds will look.
